This seems pretty damning on the surface and was exploited to the fullest in the local and national media headlines. However, the similarities lose their punch when you realize the only reason the accusers have the same profile black females with a history of drugs and prostitution is because those are the only people investigators went out looking to interview.

Morris stated that Daniel was driving an older model police car. Morris initially resisted Det. Only after she was arrested and sitting in jail on an unrelated charge did she contact Det. Gregory and change her story to match the one he had suggested. Daniel was acquitted of her allegations. Carla Raines was also approached by Det. According to SH, Daniel was the officer watching her at the hospital when she was handcuffed to a bed.

She recalled him squeezing her breast and forcing her to perform oral sex on him. TB, another survivor, claimed that on different occasions in March , Daniel forced her to expose her breasts and later threatened her with future sexual assault and arrest for any outstanding warrants. Another woman, AG, who was years-old when the alleged attack happened, said that Daniel offered to drive her home once.

SB took the stand to say that Daniel first asked if she had drugs on her and then offered to drive her home in May However, SB said that the ex-officer took her to a desolate area where he forced her to perform oral sex before raping her. The prosecutors claimed this was the very reason Daniel targeted them. Daniel maintained his innocence throughout the trial.
